View Full Version : Finger gloves?
Just to tape into some of the more experienced members thoughts. What do you think is the best (price, quality ratio) finger glove available. Is someone selling good ones in Australia or is 3 Rivers the go? Thanks guys, i am shooting a 65pd Bear Grissly. Thanks, J.W
Anyone with a comment here, thanks, there are a dozen to choose from at three rivers, whats the best local offering, cheers J.W
Mate I got a Damascus glove from 3 rivers a couple of weeks ago and it is awsome.Fits great from the first shot and great value.I used a martin deer glove before for years but this is head and shoulders better.
Cheers KIM
I agree the Damascus glove is by far the best, buy the best you can afford. A good glove will make a huge differance to your shooting...Glenn...
Thanks gentlemen, i have pretty short fingers and square hands, going from the sizes you have ordered and recieved, what size would you recommend? Does the U.S huge clothing sizes go with gloves as well? I was thinking a medium?. Thankyou, it is nice to buy with confidence. J.W
I am just over 6 foot and have potatos for fingers but a large fitted me perfect.A touch tight first up but perfect fit by the time I got to the back yard for a shot.
Cheers KIM
Thanks, if you are six foot i am about half that so a medium should see me right, thanks again, j.w

hey warnie, id go the super glove from three rivers. the sookum is good but doesnt last long and is pretty thin. its good for lighter bows. the super glove takes a litttle more to waer in but it by far superior. a few of us over here have converted from the sookum to the super glove. i use the medium. they feel abit stiff but once worn in itll fit like a ...well u know.;)

Are you guys talking about Damascus Gloves? www.damascusgear.com.au
Sniper, same name but a different glove Mate. The Damascus archery glove is only a three finger stall glove. That's a good site just the same, thatks for the link...Glenn...
Carefull with the sizing I got caught with a expensive tab . T hey work out sizing by measuring around your shooting hand justbelow the knuckles and fingersbut above the thumb with your hand in a flat position , 7.5"-8 "small , 8.5 "-9 " medium ,9.5- 10" large and 10.5 - 11 " x large . regards Perry

its better to try a glove, make sure the finger tips are tight ,i found if you try and make do with one thats a little sloppy youll know it cause it starts to hurt your fingers !and write down the size you get that fits cause the sizing lables on the inside on most gloves and when you come to buy another one of the same size and you cant remember if its a medium or large youll find the lables worn off , lol
mark.
Damarcus are good gloves, or the super goes well to. My current glove is a three finger deer skin and is going well too. Either one a glove is the go over a tab etc anyday for hard hunting if you ask me.
And I'd suggest a large for you warnie, medium is pretty small.
