I would like to see a section just for flint knapping.Not sure what area it should go in as it can be in trad arrows or cutting stuff but need to be a sep section I feel.If not then so be it I will sulk.

Yer mabey so but if there is a place for people to chat about flint knapping than it might become more popular.Most people that see a knapped head are keen to know more so why not have a place to learn more about it.(Its not like it costs more to have another thread)

A good topic for discussion mate. Wouldn't it fit best in the trad arrows section? Isn't it "mostly" used for b'heads, rather than knives in the context that bowhunters discuss it anyways...

If talking about flint knapping for knives, bung a new thread in the knife forum perhaps.

Yep trad arrows it is.Glenn and I spoke on the weekend and agreed that Auz has some great knappers so why not have a place to post pics and ideas on the subject.

So when is this going to start and exactly where as I have some pics of flint knapped heads from Peter Rodgers and John Horsch they both make excellent heads and I think that Peter has made some knives and the odd spear head as well.
