mark.
Mark Australia has always sold mostly right wing feathers, I never even knew once that there was such a thing once as right and left wing feathers, it's just how is was, every feather sold here was right wing and today there are still more right wing feathers sold than left wing. I can buy left wing feathers from the States for my right hand shooting but I still buy right wings out of habit...Glenn...
I once spoke to an archery dealer who told me that Australia was always sent the right wing feathers from the begining because they had an excess in stock of right wing feathers overseas. It's just typical of what overseas companies thought of the Australian market.

If I ever buy another fletching jig, I think I would go for a left wing model. The fact that I would have the inconvenience of having to buy most of my fletches from the States, would be compensated by the fact that I would have a greater choice of colours. I would really like to try some of the colours that aren't available in right wing feathers, like the Truflight brown barred and the solid bronze colours.

Back up what everyone else has said . I have a bitzenburger jig and have thought about getting a left wing clamp and indexer for it many times just to see for myself if left wing /right wing arrows make fly differant for me , cant see they would but its worth the experiment .
I have seen left wing can be cheaper and come in a wider range of colours also . Its a real problem how the suppliers see the australian market , we definatly have to struggle to get the premium product . regards Perry
