Where can i buy a decent leather back quiver?? Seen plenty of different types at a club shoot on the weekend but didn't get a chance to talk to many guys about them.

Usually they are custom made.
Dave Kneable (spelling) made mine, I think he may be making a few more if you are interested.
You can view it on the Trad comp post (still running).
BTW where are you situated?

Have a look in the 'crafts' section of Australian eBay. There's a leathercraft sub-section that often has pieces of leather in it. If you plan to use it for carrying broadheads as well as field points, I'd recommend you go for something fairly thick, like 2 to 3mm and even then make the quiver with a double layered bottom. If you just plan to carry field point arrows, the thickness of the leather isn't all that important.

There are also large leather suppliers in most capital cities, who will do business by mail order. Just type in 'Leather suppliers' into Google and select Australian only sites.

It's fun making your own quivers and it's not very hard to do. I find it's easier to lace them together with leather thonging. I reckon it looks better too.

I'm in Brissy. I figured by the different styles and designs they were hand made. I'll keep my eye out for something already made - no time (read useless with crafty stuff) to do anything.

They are nice looking quivers Jeffro!

BTW, I just got a Custom Predator Classic bow - it's sweet as. Will post pics soon.

Marlin, I made my back quiver out of goat and fox skins. It looks awesome and works really well! I used an old leather belt as the strap
