Mate, that is awesome!
I'd no wonder she's so keen to shoot arrows, with a work of art like that at her disposal :D

I bought a chrono today and maggies little bow was the first put throught its paces tonight. These little bows really pack a punch and pound for pound perform heaps better than there bigger brothers.
At 15 pound at 24 inches it shoots a 170 grain arrow at 115 fps.
and the robertson at 63 shoots a 580 grain arrow at 190fps so it is shooting just under 10 grains per pound and the little bow is shooting over 10 grains per pouns and is #/# heaps faster. The little aluminiums are way to soft also and coming out sideways so when I get the matched arrows made up it should be even better.I think it can easy shoot an arrow in the 200-220 class which is a monster effort for its weight.
Cheers KIM
That's very good performance Kim, thie rule of thumb for speed is the bows weight plus 100fps when drawn to 28 inches, so that's very good performance...Glenn...
Thats cool mate it confirms what we both thought about it when we first saw it shot.I have the new chrono so we can test some of the other bows getting around the place too so should be a bit of fun.

Very good speed indeed and a very sweet looking little bow as well.
It puts a tear in the eye when seeing the pleasure the offspring get from shooting with them as well top effort mate and well done too.
Is that rule for self bows or lam bows as going on that scale my recurve is very fast also 63+100=163 and it is shooting 185-190 with arrows just under the 10 grains per pound.
Cheers KIM
Fibreglass bows Kim, the Robertson is a good performer, infact it is very good as the old AMO standard was tested on a 30 inch draw and a lot of bows of that weight weren't getting those figures with a 30 inch draw. The standard tested was a 60lb bow drawn to 30 inches with a 540 grain arrow...Glenn...
Its awsome to finally have a chrono myself as with the arrow speed and weight there are other things that can be worked out properley and tests done about penetration on differant arrow weights.Look out myth busters:)
Cheers KIM
Yes the tale of the tape will sort myth from fact. Some of the maths for penetration is a real eye opener...Glenn...
