The French Connection Cape York

[Trophy Bowhunts]

Well the 8 days of hunting with my regular French Clients has come to an end but we had a great time. As with Sparra's Trip the hogs were hard to find but we had quite good sucess as the days were long and the hunting was hard.

The hogs are starting to come out of the bush as the water dries out and quite a few more were spotted than our last trip with Sparra & Joe.

We accounted for 19 Boars 3 Sows, 2 Bulls and 1 Brumby. 8 of the hogs went Trophy Class the best being 28 6/8.

The Bulls really had us going and proved to be very hard to hunt with ever changing wind conditions. We stalked some real pearler's but they managed to wind us and took off for parts unknown. The 2 Bulkls we got where pretty good and the lads were very happy.
