Hey Carl,
yeah for a home page mate.

the site used to have a heap of other pages of info and competitions and sponsor support adverts, managment team page, bowhunter info zone, etc etc etc...links, blah blah blah...the forum now mate? Well, admin have discussed it and would like to update it to make it more "aesthetically pleasing" as well as to make it a more professional looking outfit to represent Australian Bowhunting on the world wide web.

I mean, there's a white tail buck on the top of the forum as the "logo"...that's an american deer...NOT Australian!....as good as an excuse as any to update I reckon...

Luke,
Like it so far, the Red deer is a nice touch, how about a few more Aussie game animals too, but it's your project.

The Americans think wild boar and buffaloe when there talking about Oz, and a couple more deer perhaps?

The layout looks quite classy so far. :D

Luke,

Looks good. Guys I think he is planning for this to be the main 'home' page.

Bit of an 'intro' section to the forum so to speak.

The three of us will have a sit down to work out exactly how we want this to go together. But so far I think Lukeo is just 'stylin' and so far looking good.

im all for the eye pleasing stuff and other pages, I just like the way the forum is set up, its easy to navigate.

Luke

and I intend to keep it easy to navigate too mate...I'm only a simple bowhunter who's taught himself ALL he knows about webdesign and website development and authoring....ie I don't really know anything BUT simple! (coach...shaddup!!! :P)

My intentions are to keep the "theme" the same on all pages (forums will be diff due to PHP constrictions etc) and to put up different pics on each page, a different heading and obviously diff content...eg, blurb on management team, sponsors etc...

For example:

I hope that clarifies it some more...;)

The general layout for the forums is not going to change at all. However it would be nice to have some better pics/ graphics, maybee even some custom buttons (like broadheads), perhaps a change of colour scheme etc.
