yes we would need a property with good numbers i reckon, and transport would be an issue. these are the obstacles we need to get over. could anyone help with any of these two thing's?

will we need r license's?
we could hunt yathong state forest. its huntable with an r licence. it has good hills with a couple waterholes and has plenty goats.
and it doesnt get many bookings i dont think.

i checked out your photos misfit, looks like good country for pig's.

if we were going to hunt at cobar i would need to get a lift, i can get to the yarrawonga/nsw boarder, i go to yarrawonga alot to see my nan, dad just got home today from going there. i would really like to hunt at cobar as im keen to get my first goat.

so if you would like to hunt at cobar, post where your from and if you have a car or any transport so we can get a group going.

if its happening?

hey misfit hows things goin. I checked out the pics with the pigs etc on the clay pans etc, would that property be far from talleyelle, just south of hungerford. I hunted up that way a few years ago when a guy by the name of David marrett owned it. Its a cool place up that way.

About the only property that would be feasible to use would be a 'pay' property. There's a fair few around Cobar. I can't really recommend it though as these properties invariably have had heaps of firearm shooters shooting on them without any let up. The scarce game that might be left will be super spooky. The properties around Cobar would probably still have heaps of goats on them though and seeing that you would be paying for the privilege of hunting there, you should be able to take a few. Most ordinary farmers aren't keen at all, in my experience, on allowing their valuable goats to be killed by hunters.
