The new bow really likes to hit things hard.
59# @ 28" and 62" tip to tip, it has no noticable hand shock, and is sweet and smooth to shoot. Certainly an eye opener for me and a keeper.

My first Armstrong Longbow has the same appeal.

It will be my prefered bow on an upcoming 9 day goat hunt in Western Australia. I'll have some more pictures then and a better say on what seems to be a marvelous bow.

That looks like a nice bow Adam, I like how the bow tips are made, gives it a unique look. Is the riser laminated to the deflex in the riser and do you know what timber it is and what are the laminations in the limbs?...Glenn...

That's a nice looking bow alright Adam. I see it's more of a deflex reflex bow than your other one. Is the new bow made with carbon fibre?

One of the blokes at my archery club uses one of Norm's original longbows and it performs far better than most bows. It's very smooth and shoots a really fast arrow with almost zero handshock.

You must be amassing quite a few bows by now mate.

Glenn and Mick here is a little more on the bow.

The central core and the grip are fashioned from veneers of Tasmanian Blackwood, as are the overlays on the tips and the grip.

Flat ribbon carbon Lams and some Boo in the limbs.

Fast flight string.

The riser is laminated to the deflex in the limbs if I understand correctly.

Cheers mates

I try to only have 1 good recurve 1 good longbow as I shoot best sticking to a select few, but they have been building up. 3 recurves, 3 longbows, I'll most likely get rid of the howard hill longbow and the bear recurve but will have to keep the others till there death.
