Head shot Will

Young Will from this site was helping me the other day doing some yard maintenance. I found an old 6 stitcher cricket ball minus the red cover. I picked it up and as he was walking beside a colour bond fence, I thought I would lob it a few feet behind him and scare the bejesus out of him. His pace was constant and I took aim, just as it slipped from my fingers he took several quick steps backwards, and thump, a direct head shot. A stunned Will didn't know what hit him and after apologising (?) profusly we both had a good laugh. Should of seen his reaction, near soiled myself.
To make amends, I am taking him on his first hunt tomorrow, I am letting him carry the video camera. Does it get any better!!

Hmmm,

I thought the bloody blower had gone up on me and smacked me in the back of the head! A second after Howie had chucked the "ball", which was more like a shot-putt after closer inspection, i put the blower down (wearing earmuffs) which further compounded my confusion, and wondering why it was still running when the motor had blown up! LOL and F****** OUCH.

I dunno any more, I'm getting to old for all of this!!! lol Howie! : )

Saw a few foxes driving in but none came to the whistle. I thumped a bunny as sweet as from 20 yards, he fell into his burrow. When it came time to view the footage, the brand new tape just wouldn't replay, maybe Will got to it and got his revenge. Dropped Will home and gave him some archery lessons, he is coming along real well for a newbie. Still laughing at that head shot, sorry bud...........Howie
