Please post up guys if u would like a new forum added just for backpacking/backcountry topics

eg
gear you use,stoves packs,bows,gps,maps,food,fitness,tents sleeping bags

how to do articles

storys from beyond

travel tips for OS hunters

just my thoughts please post up your opinion so the mods can see that we want this forum to make TBGA bigger and better than the rest.Thanks Shane

its not a bad idea shane, i'd be happy to read about thing's that you have listed and get to know the good and not so good brand's for sleeping bag's/swag's, gps etc...

I agree, more of a how to and ideas swap rather than a 'gear review' ;) It would be very interesting to see how hunters who pack in/out get around issues such as water/food/shelter without needing a wheelbarrow.

I will put it to the management and pitch it as a Back Country bowhunting section. i can see where Shane is coming from and it is a somewhat specialised area of our pass time.

Fair enough, but go on the main page and count forums.
How many more do we want to have before the site gets unwieldy? Which forums should we "cull" in order to add it?

As far as making this Australia's biggest and best bowhunting forum, well, the members have already made it just that.;)

Puk i dont think it would be to many .I think more the merrier.
Have a look at archery talk and jessies just to name a few with a lot more topics the us.
