The last one might be a hard one to find in the grass/scrub. The others look cool.........Howie

Hi, This may sound like a stupid question, but what are blazers? Are they feathers or vanes? And what advantages do they offer over normal feathers? Cheers Chris

groovy guru, blazers are actually vanes (the "blazers" name is the bohning model name) and they are shorter than regular 3 or 4 inch vanes (1 1/2 or 2 inch versions).

as far as advantages, they cut down on wind resistance and are alot more rigid than longer vanes which keepsthe arrow flying straighter.

hope that helps

Thanks for that. I have heard of them here all the time but never knew what they were all about. I have used vanes before but always had problems with my arrows swaying around in big barrel rolls, with both bows that i have owned and the as soon as i swithed to feathers the problem was solved. I tried everything and that was the thing that fixed it for me. Cheers chris

Chris, They look ****hot mate. The Fluro Pink one is pick of the bunch. Did they also have the matching Wrapps to go with it?

Would like to invest in some white to compliment the fluro orange Im using at them moment, maybe when im not broke :D

By the way mate, Did you count the fletches? I got a pack and i only counted 90.

I'm Putting arrows through my blazers and ruining them at the min on the range at home... perhaps I should Aim at a diffrent spot....
