Great pics . Are they from one of the conservation hunting blocks, or are you lucky enough to have access to private land.

What are the rules with hog deer btw? Can u shoot them anytime during their season on private land or do u need to be picked outof a ballet for them??

Top pics mate. This is one of the first times that I have seen hog deer on here. Just as elusive as in the wild. Thanks for sharing.

Dunno bout private land but the game council regulations state that hog deer can only be hunted in april with a bag limit of 1 buck and 1 hind.
And you must also buy tags to attach to the animal after it is taken?
Does anyony know why this breed is the only one that has to be tagged?
I'm guessing that its because there are'nt as many numbers of hogs compared to other breeds say fallow or red?
But as i mentioned i'm only guessing...

Thanks fellas theres no real story to that day I didnt have much time this year to chase them that was pre season and not quite in my hunting area (not far from though) starting a family can really affect your hunting!, Im busting to get one with a bow or any deer for that matter Im hoping it will be a hoggy for my first bow kill.
