wow. i never new you could get such a thing. they would be interesting to try but if you were close enough to scare the animal then you might as well put a bh in it. i still want some thou lol

I haven’t heard of them before but I have heard of people putting shotgun bullets on the end of their arrow and when the arrow hits something the billet gets set off by the tip of the arrow. They called them boom sticks.

Wouldn't it be easier and safer to just get a gun? Cant see the point.

Point is Field Point accuracy with a head that explodeds on impact, not saying 12ga wouldn't work, however I do know of other certain calibers that do ;) as mentioned knock down power of a rifle, quietness of a bow and field point accuracy at great distances without the broadhead plaining.
Not sure if its illegal neither though either ;)

ummmm quietness of a bow???? accuracy??? im pretty sure the sound would be the same when the round went off.... and i could definately hit the intended target with more accuracy with a rifle, weather it be from 10m or 600m...... id like to see you hit something from 600m with the bow.....
as stated b4 if you want to use cartridges just buy a gun!!!!!

Sorry was not comparing a bow to a firearm. Talking about arrow flight.
Yes a bow is quieter than a firearm and yes as you would know a fieldpoint does shoot better than a broadhead in most counts and no it doesnt make the same sound as a normally round going off as generally the round enters the animal before a firing pin stikes the round, giving you a muffled shot.

The fact they are on ebay leaves me thinking they are not explosive, as thats simply a huge No No on eBay ! ?? they get :mad: maybe you add your owm bang in the form of Rifle primers or something along those lines.

We used to use 12g cracker shot at the airport to scare the critters away. Man it was fun. Shoot em up drain pipes for the feral cats. The shock wave coming out of the pipe was nothing to the cat exiting rather quickly. If you timed the shot right you could get them to explode either on or in water, they would shoot up a geyser like a little depth charge. This was back 7 years ago and they were over $200 for a box of 25 rds. Christ only knows what they are now
