Glenn + 4" grinder

I'm getting tired of waiting for a bow class with Glenn ( c'mon Glenn....... ) but I was wondering if when I was making a bow at home...just to have a practise...wether a 4 " grinder with a disc say 80 grit could be used to rough out the form...I got the dimensions of the holmegaard bow off the net and was thinking of just having a go at it....Waddya reckon Glenn ???

Sorry Hellier, I have been off line again until today. A 4" angle grinder would be alright to use just for roughing out a bow, but it's all hand work after that to tiller selfbows, I have used electric planes to rough staves down just to get rid of the excess timber. I like the Holmegaard design for a hunting bows....Glenn...
