View Full Version : Getting started
I have young fella looking at starting bowhunting compound finger release and instinctive shooting I like martin bows but your thoughts on bow brands good and bad points welcome and average value $500-700 thinking Jaguar or cougar(martin)
The Jaguar is a good little bow, my only gripe with it is that the bow is a little loud at the longer end of the draw 30"+.
But apart from that it is a number one starting bow ( might be putting mine up in the next 5 weeks ( canery yellow finish ) )

Martin do make a very good bow for the price...

Yeh Martins are a good bow. Bear in mind if the young fella is going to shoot fingers a long axle to axle would better suit him. Say around the 38" and above.
