I took this link from another site that I frequent, and thought that it is quite relevent to all that use these online forums. I don't agree myself and believe in free speech strongly and we as consumers should be able to voice our opinions/concerns without being subject to possible legal issues like this. If someone is having a problem with a product or buisness we should be able to make it public without fear of being dragged into a legal wrangle. keep the bastards honest I reckon!

Unfortunate sign of the times, everyone should be careful re; what they post and whom about. It is like when you smack someone in the mouth, despite the fact they may well deserve it there is a good chance now days they will press charges unlike times past.

as i under stand it ( IT geek here ) that 2Clix Australia had requested the threads to be deleted many times before, and on each time the Whirlpool staff have declinde to be reasonable about the matter

2clix are worryed because if you type "2Clix" into google the 2 and 4 results are the two threads in question. both saying how much the people dislike the software

Providing the problems the people are discussing are valid, and they've come from personal experience and not hearsay, good on them. Whirlpool is under no obligation to remove threads because somebody doesn't like them be they a person or a company. I'm with bear, this sort of thing might keep them honest!
