i use a old body board get a strip of carpet about 9 mtrs
the same width of the body board and wrap it verticaly so theres about 5 or more layers on each side of the board then dig or drill holes at the top and bottom to tie it together, after you shoot you can get your hand in between
the layers unscrew your broad head and pull the arrow out
i only practice with one broad head so you only dull one of them
if the carpet is dark color i used a white cross made out of tape to shoot at
perfct size for 50 yrds
after a lot of shots youll end up shreding the carpet around the cross
untie it and move the carpet around

thats a good idea. you can tie handles on it with your rope too, not too heavy, not too light it would be just right (I think I just quoted an add)

Without trying to be a party pooper... isnt that a little anoying unscrewing them from inside the layers of carpet. My broadhead target is one of those matresses thats only about 2in wide and after a fiew tests i have found that if you fold it so theres three layers to shoot through, the broadhead stops about half a foot out the other side so it right out in the open. Easy to unscrew...
