If you do a search on site, you'll find many fishin photos ... they mainly get posted in the soap box but perhaps a dedicated "phishin photos" section should be here somewhere ... i reckon it's a winner.

Haven't got any recent ones, and I haven't been out on the boat or anything lately, but here are some nice trout from the dam about 6 or 7 months ago.

Not huge, but a good size for sticking in the smoker and having for lunch!
My dad goes on a yearly fishing trip with his old business mates, and some of the older members of the family (brother, pop and my brother), out to the Great Barrier Reef on a pretty huge yacht thingo.
Some of the pictures and stories are crazy - they'll pull up things like Cod the size of the boat, or an octopus that covers the entire deck, or hook onto a giant trevally which gets eaten by a shark which a big Cod comes up and eats (apparently when they open their mouths it's like a little plughole in the ocean, they're huge).
I'll try and track down some pics, because they're very impressive! They let go all these splendid creatures by the way, nothing good to eat on a fish that huge anyway.... though think of the calamari you'd get from the octopus haha.
