I went for a wander this arvo with the camera,
this is the type of country
http://www.users.on.net/~snowy1/succsess/stuff%20for%20daves%20site/trail%20camrea/017.JPG
above the apple orchard where i have been poking about .the deer travel i think nocturnaly
so i thought a little higher up the trail would give me a bit better handle on what time they were moving .

i settled on one trail that had with a bit of hard looking various sets of animals traveling in both directions .
i set up

http://www.users.on.net/~snowy1/succsess/stuff%20for%20daves%20site/trail%20camrea/021.JPG
then wandered about 70 yards down hill to find a spot where two trails come together ...
hmmmmmm ....what to do /?
i went up and shifted on to the double trail as the second had a bit more traffic .
spot the camera///?

my form of cammo
http://www.users.on.net/~snowy1/succsess/stuff%20for%20daves%20site/trail%20camrea/026.JPG
being in a bush fire burnt area a black camera blended in well
the deer wander down lower ,i have pictures in the wallow at about 2am ,i went right out to the paddock and found fresh mud that had been "shook"/.
so
http://www.users.on.net/~snowy1/succsess/stuff%20for%20daves%20site/trail%20camrea/028.JPG
im assuming that if they are in the wallow at 2 am then wander to the paddock to feed ,for at least a few hours then they should in
theory be heading back past the camera at about 5-7 am ...?
what do you think .
i recon i shall have to climd the tree at the camera
