this is my and my work mate working/playing on 275,000 volts just on dusk
do not try this at home as you will get blown to little bitty pieces;)

Hey Jason they are realy cool picks.
Was wondering though are you using some kind of insulator or do you have your hands out flat?
In the bottom pic are you both holding onto the cable with one hand and dancing the volts between the other?

mate we are standing on a tower that is made from insulating sticks.. the mat is conductive and to do the last pic my mate just sat on the rail so there was a difference in potential between us and we arc as we high 5.. we are wearing a suit with metal thread woven through it so the voltage goes around our body not through. just like a bird on a wire once we bond on to the live there is no arcing that only occurs like in the picture if we have not clipped onto the live bars.. would be very annoying to work if it sparked like that all day.. Is still fun to make lightning even after 6 years of doing it...
