Gday all i went for a hunt out at pine ridge on sunday to se if i could get a goat or a pig so sunday came and i was up at 5.30 and on the way to pine ridge i got there at 6.00 to meet the property owner at the front gate so loaded my stuf into the ute and we were of arfter 23 km's of driveway we were there.Got to the house at 6.15 and i doned the camo and we were of geting to the top of the hill without seing a thing i sat there and had a drink and a fox walked past a about 85 meters so i blew my whistle and he wasn't the slightest bit interested and kept on walking out of sight so i kept on walking to a big hole in the fence were there was goat hair all over the place so i climbed thru the hole in them fence and followed the track and came to a dam so i climbed thru the bushes to spook a small mob of goats so i sat there for a while and nothing returned so i walked over the dam bank on the to find a pig bed and a heap of wallows but no pig.so i decided it was late enough i should get back to the house and on the way down i could se white couler on the next door's hill so got out my bino's and had a look and i seen about 35 goats but next door's hills are a big no no lol so i got back to the house with no luck what so ever....Them same hills are were the s.s.a.a 46 inche spred goat was shot.. here a few pics i took..
