When I was first getting interested in bows and arrows, I loved watching the films these two fellows made. But, since ordering a film off Brett about six years ago, I haven't heard too much about them. Are they going okay, and still into bowhunting? Thanks, Ben

Dont really know what the go is there Ben. Brett vercoe seemed to have dropped off a few years ago, which is a real shame. Good Bowhunter and a good bloke! Clint? I haven't had much to do with, but he did produce some good clips. I haven't heard much of either of these two in quite some time, maybe we might spark some interest from them with this post. :);)

Vercoe is a spearfishing legend, and has recently hit the Australian bill fish grand slam (or so I've been told).
He still bow hunts.
Maltese Falcon is a mate of his and shares the spearing and bowhunting passions. He would best advise on Vercoe's recent activities on land and under sea.

Spoke to Lisa Vercoe the other night. Kimall's right, Brett is concentrating on making spearfishing movies and doesn't hunt much anymore, she said. Great shame as I love their work too. One of their movies inspired the Cape trip I'm embarking on Monday week. I rang after buying and watching the movie and Lisa was kind enough to ring me back and give me enough information to help me plan my trip.

Taco, Clint Picking made those last two. In addition to the ones you mentioned, Brett Vercoe also made one called "The Big Five of Australia's Top End". Thanks for the heads-up, lads; I'm glad they're doing well.

Ben, Clint hasn't hunted much in the last 18 months due to a knee injury which needed surgery. He's been out a couple of times but hasn't been back to the cape since we finished the Boar War.
He was due to go up with me this month but work kept me grounded this year but Clint is going up in October. He was at my house for the night a while back and he's chomping at the bit.
Were all still out there doing it...
