Year round

I was just wondering how many of you guys shoot year round?
I tend to put the bow down after November until around march as far as hunting goes ( i shoot it a couple of times a month to keep my eye in).The local deer cast and are back in velvet and i find out west a bit hot.

Yeah I do, but summer slows things down quite a fare bit, but I start doing a little more scouting in this time period.

i shoot all year round, i pretty much shoot everyday unless it's pouring with rain and wind like today but i still got to put a few arrows into the target. i hunt everyday i can for a few hours, keep's the rabbit's toey making it more of a challenge.

I hunt as much as I can. The heat of summer does make it more uncomfortable to walk around but the heaat also brings in the pigs to the water so some good hunting can be had.

same boat as dan on this one, from about 2-3 to about 6 best time for bunnies, but still the odd full day out their for some fun...

Come summer bowhunting takes a back seat to spearfishing. I still get out bush but tend to spend more time in the water chasing the elusive jew fish.

I hunt all year as there is meat in them there hills to be had. Can never hunt enough and you always learn more the more time out there. Your fitness goes up in summer too as you exert more due to the heat. Good to get as fit as possible for when the ruts come around.

I dont hunt all year round.
But I do practice all year round...

I usually hunt from june till nov then fish during the monsoon for barra, I must admit that I've done more fishing than hunting over the last couple of years due to the novalty of getting a bigger more seaworthy boat.

I hunt all year Feb through to july for deer and then the rest of the year for goats and the odd pig. Hunting in the heat can be exhausting but I find it brings the Billy's out of the hills and onto the river where I hunt.

for me i love the heat and would rather be out hunting on a 35+ day then a 20 degree day but i get out when ever i can

best time for pigs up here but too hot & too many snakes
time for practice & fine tuning gear & searching the web & seeing that new bow that you want but dont really need LOL

will hunt all year round. the goats we be concentrated around the greenest areas and the water so its easy to find them. hard work hunting the hills in the heat tho and the snakes put me on edge

I thought it would be mixed answers. I still scout around mainly running with the dog before work. But with Adam K i to trade arrow for a steel shaft and chase jew, kings and anything else that tastes good from the ocean.

All year bowhunter here, all seasons present a direct type of hunting weathers its hard goats in winter spread out by feed and water or hunting in the hot summer around limited water for pigs or goats, love it all.
