what colour pin can you see

G’day
What colour sight pin can first, when the sun is coming up? Don’t know if it is just me but I can see green way before red and yellow show up, with red being the worst.
Should make em all green.....

every one should be about the same the green/yellow is the most senstive wave lengths to your eyes.

but you have to concider when you are shooting through bush's to hit the target behind as these colours will become lost in the mist on the plant so hence why we use a red dot, i dont feel that a blue dot will be usefull either as i think blue is the first to fade in the arvo

Just on dark my two green pins stand out the best then yellow then red.

I've always found that with alot of light my two reds are best ans with little light my green and yellow are best. I'de say the order is the same as what you said... green is the best, yellow is still prity good and red is the worst.

green is the last to fade that is why all first aid crosses have been changed from red to green in workplaces
