We headed out to the new hunting property on Saturday arvo to meet the manager and for a quick look around before setting up camp. Well sort of set up camp. Keith slept in the back of the cruzer, I slept on the ground in my swag and 79 slept in his ute.
On the way back I took this pic of Keith walking along the top of a gravel pit full of water. I was down on the waters edge looking for any signe of ferals.

Hopefully in 2 weeks time Ill be able to post some pics of these two stalking some deer on the other property. The manager is keen to get us onto some game to keep us happy. Top bloke I reckon.

I thought you would have posted a few pics and a story by now so i was leaving it for you 79. I just wanted to put on the pic of Keith.

Awesome photo, it would make a great avatar.
No success on the hunt?

You should enter that photo in the competition.

G-day Greg, Im using a Panasonic Lumix.

We didnt find any ferals this trip but we have arranged to go back in a month for another look further up the river. I was surprised about the amount of water on the place in dams and lagoons/water holes ect...
The grass was so long the rabits would have to be as big as roos just to see them. We found dog tracks around every water point. They told us we had a good chance of seeing dingos as they had not baited this year so far. 79 found a half eaten rabbit along one of the lagoons we walked.
