As i came to the botom of the hill i hunt i looked up into the seemingly endless waves of purple paddo and this young rookie without he's first kill was off on another bunny hunt! Up over the hill and down the other side where my main rabbit spot lies. I stood there about half way down and spotted a large rock looking over my rabbit spot and i decided to use it as a lookout for my prey... rabbits!
I came to the end... i looked over the edge and... nothing? oh well... i was about to jump off the rock and keep going when i saw a widdle wabbit having a rest in the shade of a big rock. I assesed the situation and decided that i would take a shot with one of my dodgy wooden arrows as it was standing around heaps of small rocks and i couldnt afford to loose another one of my good carbons. I slowly got out my wooden arrow... drew back... aimed... released... THUMP! SQUEEK, SQUEEK, SQUEEK!!!!!
I GOT ONE,I GOT ONE,I GOT ONE is all i could say as i ran down to find my rabbit trying to escape down it's burrow but with something stopping it... MY ARROW THROUGH IT!
I got out my knife... finnished it off... took photos and ran home.

And now i ask... what do i do with it?
I just want to skin it nicely and hang it as a trophy, i have skinned rabbits in the past but did a really dodgie job and i want to get this one right.
What do i do?

Oh and there will be heaps of photos when i finnish skinning.

great stuff, how long have you been hunting, ive been hunting for about 8 months and i still havnt gotten anything.

but after my hols we will be able togo for some pigs.

mate, for the last 8 months i have been in exactly the same situation as you.
The best things to do are:
PACTACE
and just keep going out as much as possable, the more you go out the more chance you will have of getting one.
