came to the creek's edge and saw a little bunny sitting outside of it's warren, took the shot thought i hit home but nothing was found...walked on for anoth km or so and stoped at a big warren thats god lot's of rabbit's living in it. when i arrived i could see 3 sets of ears poking out of three different holes, i got down and tried to set up the camera hoping to get an impact shot on film, the grass was about 3 inches to high so that didnt work, i laid on my stomach just watching he rabbit's come out of there holes and sitting in the sun, i wasnt fussed about shooting one so i just watched them for a few minutes, there were two nice big bunny's sitting about 20m away at the most and once they were gone i stood up and kept hunting.
i crossed the fence and was looking in all of the small blackberry bushes, i wasled past a small bush that had a little rabbit sitting in it, i waited for some kind of noise that would muzzle out the sound of my bow coming to full draw, once that was done i steped back and it was still there so i put my pin on where i thought was it's an released, i heard that unmistakble thump and then the bush started going crazy, i new it couldn't of been a good shot so i jumped through the fence and cought the bunny on the otherside, afer quickly finishing it off i got to take one picture and then the camera died, the picture turned out blury! so i quickly took another one of it when i got home. the rest of the walk was uneventful, hot and sweaty. i was pleased to put my 31st bunny on the ground but i have hit and lost many many more!

If you showed that picture to a non hunting person, what do you think the first thing they would notice???? I always try and cover up holes, makes for a much nicer pic, just my thoughts..

howie, both sides of the rabbit had big holes, so i chose the cleanest looking side.
