Classifieds

I have tried to reply to a few classifieds and am told I don't have access...I see the mods can still reply to them...I understand that they need to have access to moderate but there seems to be two sets of rules..:confused::confused:

The Management Team has decided to trial a limited posting classifieds section instead of the open posting classifieds we have now.
This means that when you post an item for sale in the classifieds section no one will be able to make a reply in the public forum. If members are interested in purchasing the item or have any questions they will have to do it via personal messages. The seller can still modify and add information at any time at their discretion. There is no need for any public discussions on a classified and this system will prevent any spamming of your ad.

This way of running a classifieds section is used on other websites very successfully and we feel it will benefit the members here as well. Good luck with your sales.

I was confused about what your saying but now I understand....I see it was Scott who replied and I presume he doesn't know about the changes...I didn't either until you brought this up..I am sure it won't happen again as I will send him a pm.

sorry about that....ooops. Apparently some changes didn't kick into gear. I can assure you that I too from now on won't be able to reply... Bit of a hick up. No dramas!!!!
