Went to Howies goat spot on Tues, this place is fantastic, lots of great sized Billies, awesome country and some BIG goats!! Howie passed up a couple of 30+ goats and finally settled his pin on a 33p goat, perfect shot and the old fella dropped basically on the spot without making a sound!! (top shot howie)
I shot a little nanny first, then moved onto my first billy, then i smoked the bloke with the bigger horns, he is only my second billy and obviously the biggest!! a HUGE (in my book) 19 or 20 lol
At one stage we were so close to the goats we could have put down the bows and jumped one of them!
Awesome day, very windy in parts, Howie taught me a heap, as usual. His shot placement is exceptional and something i am trying to replicate! But that will come with time.
