After going up to Merluna with Pat and Clint i would have to rate it as one of the best.
I only have Bill Baker's operation (which I and most regarded as the best)to bench mark it against and accomodation and food are as good or better and it is only in it's infancy.
The game is there and is everywhere with mobs of pigs sited evryday by the dozen. in fact at night while going to the toilet was not uncommon to see sows feeding on the mangos around the house.
I saw and was outsmarted by plenty of big hogs with hooks well above the jaw and i believe every hunting week this season someone has taken a 30+ pointer.
(Gerry Ross got a 31 2/8 the week we went up and 2 others that bar broken tusk, would have tiped the 30 but went 29).
Scrub bulls and brumbies are literally everywhere on the place and you can hold out for the bull you want.Plenty of dingos as well and big Barra over 1m long in the lagoons around the house and some 10ft reptiles to keep you on your toes.
The boys put in plenty of hard work to get you a good boar and know their stuff so if you are after a good semi-guided hunt i would highlty recommend the place in fact we thought about telling everyone it was cr@p to keep it for ourselves but it would do the place an injustice..
