yep the adcock page is a great source of tuning info IMO and very straightforward. everthing he recommends makes perfect sense to me.

G.day thought I might let you know .did some bare shaft tuning today and tried some thing different .Marked the shaft were Iwould normally glue the nock on (right angle to grain) but held the nock on with blue tac fired shafts at 18 meters indoor all 4 shats impacted way left of target ,retrived shafts and nocks (as they fell off an impact) rotated nock positin about 30 degrees and started again 2 shafts impacted much closer to correct line put them aside and rotated other nocks about 30 degrees again played with this till all shafts were grouping on proper line.

All grouped lower than fletched shafts(made up 2 full arrows from 6 shafts originaly made from some dug fir) lowered nocking point slightly to bring group near to correct height ,then fletched them. At 18 meters all grouped well properly one of the best groups I have shot.

Didnt seem to take to long to do ,from start to finish of shhoting all 6 arrows about 2 cups of coffee, but now having read imfo from adcock site will try it there way next I make up some shafts

Excellent dad, thanks for sharing that info.

I finally got a chance to bare shaft my Hawkeye today, Arrows group awesome, 3 inch groups from 15 meters, but the nock ends all were to the left while tips hit bullseye, is this normal or can I adjust it but packing the rest wall out with leather. Nocks were left of the target.
