Marvellous new arrows!

G'day All!

I'd just like to show-off my beaut new arrows. They are made by Paul Jalon of Elite Arrows in Michigan, USA (www.elitearrows.com). He's done a magic job on them!

They are laminated birch, wearing 190 grain field points and Ribtek broadheads (I can hardly wait for the glue to dry!), for a total weight of 850 grains. They're for my 66", 70lb@29" Howard Hill Redman longbow.

The price on these is really good; it was US$192.20 for two-dozen, without points, which is pretty good value for this sort of thing. I'd strongly recommend Paul if you're not up to making your own just yet. He was very helpful and informative, and his test kit service is excellent; I was able to test various different spines before placing my order.

they look great, im going to get a samik later in the year, i shoot compound but i cant resist getting a recurve as i love the look of them and would love the challange of harvesting an animal.

they do look awsome. makes me wanna take back up trad. great price as well. i have a few doz custom carbon crested arrows coming from america from a guy called eric. mine were 160us a doz.
