Been awhile since I took a pig with the trad gear but done just that a week or so back while in western Australia.


Stalking a mob laid up under the paper barks, got to 4 meters before nailing the biggest sow.

she went about 2meters after placing an arrow tight under her brisket.

A healthy young boar I took broadside at 7 meters, he travelled around 15 meters.

Used poc shafts, ribtek 130w and an old bear or hoyt bow not sure.

WoW!!!! How could you get those pics before shooting?, my hand would have been shaking so bad that I wouldnt been able to take them!:D COngratulations!!!, I am still waiting the moment to get my first boar with trad gear....

Good to see your are getting into them, they are really good photos. Adam if your bow is a Bear it should have a metal medalion on the riser. The bow looks like a Hoyt Pro-Hunter...Glenn...

It was one of Ben's (arraslinger) bows so not sure of the brand Glenn, but think your right in saying it is a hoyt pro hunter, I think rory usta own it?.
