My new Mongol Horsebow from Wildwood should be arriving tomorrow,
my first trad bow so I thought I'd go for something showy, and I reckon they look pretty mean.
Should be fun when I finally get to shoot it, also got a dozen arrows, quiver and arm guard to make it look even fancier :P
I'll post some pics when it arrives!

Yeah, that's what drew me to get one, to be honest! I should probably be looking at the shooting qualities, but I'm hoping this time that beauty is the beast :P
I'm gonna be broke for a long time anyway, sold a whole bunch of stuff and saved up for this one, so let's hope it actually shoots arrows.
Tomorrow can't come quicker!
Will be good to see how you like the way it shoots Aimless. I have shot one or a bow like it anyway, it was a few years ago now but I shot a lot of other bows the weekend. They look like nice bows...Glenn...
Which quiver did you get from Wildwood? I like there plain leather ones myself. Good luck with your new bow and hope it all works out for you.
I also will be getting one mate :D i saw a bloke at the range the other day shooting one they are so nice and quiet in my oppinion, you just hear a "pwooh" and us ee the arrow glide :D

Got it today, should be having a shot with it tomorrow.
The bow looks and feels great, had a bit of practice stringing it which I have heard can be tricky but doesn't seem too hard at all. The draw seems a bit tough at the moment but that's probably because I'm used to the compound and just out of practice. It could be my draw is a bit longer than I remembered but I don't think so.
In any case, it all looks great and seems high quality, so I can't wait to give it a go.
Good to hear buddy :) Go smoke some targets with it :D

Managed to try it out today!
What a load of fun, I think I may already be addicted to trad. There's definitely a bit more difficulty to holding the full draw, but the bow is a very 'shoots where you point it' kind of thing. Though it's not as powerful, I think my groupings are better than my compound, and that's shooting off my hand, with fingers, not really aiming all that much and without the little strike plate fitted.
I love it! And it looks so mean!
They're definitely a good quality bow, you just gotta watch the tips when you're stringing it or carrying it around - I managed to knock a tiny chip off the edge but that was glued back on alright. Just being a bit careless :P
Oh, and the arrows smell nice. I woke up and my room smelt like cedar :D
