hi guys, just wondering who has used an internature long bow?
how do they shoot?
are they qiuet?
how fast are they fast?
any help would be great.
I have a 45# viper and it spits arrows out quite nicely (havn't chronoed it, but who really cares as long as they hit home)
I might be selling it soon to fund another custom longbow.
So if your keen let me know.

um im getting a new one mate but thanks for offering.
This one is practicle brand new and has never been out hunting.
And I've replaced the crappy synthetic leather grip for a real leather grip and would also come with 6 arrows for a significan't saving on the cost of a new bow on it's own. Oh yeah and comes with two strings.
but hey it's your choice.;)
I have never owned one but they seem to shoot good and I did see a couple shot through a chrony the other week and they performed very well...Glenn...

Spidey- I had the same as HOOD- longbow that is, not nasty rash- 45# Viper. Big, nasty crack on the top laminate. Waiting for a mate to shoot it to see if it shatters. Oh yes, I'll stand well back.
I was very, very happy with it in every way before it developed the gash.
You had me worried there at first Norman. When your mate shoots your longbow with the big crack in the limb make sure your are wearing a good pair of safety glasses.
Being overbowed is probably the major problem with most longbow shooters who have problems with shooting them. Arrow spine is another area that gives longbow owners plenty of grief. If your draw is 28" or under mostly you will find that you need under spined shafts to shoot around the sight window as most longbows are not centre shot...Glenn...

Being overbowed...
Can't stress the importance of this enough- as Glenn stated, depending on your draw length, less than 50# would likely be a more sensible choice. Honestly, I'd be thinking of a 40# bow if I were you. Set up with string silencers, a custom flemish string and correctly spined (but weighty) arrows and shot accurately, you'd give the bunnies plenty to worry about.

Spidey,
I have a 60# Viper and I have to admit I have no complaints. I do wish i had bought the 50#... as i dont practice enough to maintain my ability with a 60# bow...but you live & learn.
My advice is get the viper & spend a few extra bucks immediately and put either a fast-flight or dynaflite string on it. Mine has dynaflite and I immediately noticed the difference... greater speed & less hand shock & a vast improvement on the crappy elastic bands that internature supply with their bows.
Cheers & good hunting,
Paul
Pauls right a good well made string of low stretch material can transform the way a bow shoots and feels, I would never shoot anything else but low stretch strings even on my selfbows...Glenn...
