dave keeble is making it. take down curve, 65lb. nice smooth fast shooting bows. a 70lb was doing 210fps the other week at the tuly trad shoot. simillar to the huntsman bows but faster. he is starting out and hopes to get going full time after the new year. hope to have mine around christmas.

he is only in his early stages of manufacture/ sales but said he wanted to keep em under a $1000. mine will be a copy of daves with the actionwood riser and bamboo limbs. few others in there but i am not real up with it, just know i want a curve that shoots as fast as his and with little hand shock.
do u guys think bamboo has ny real advantages???

What grain weight was the arrow that you were putting through the bow at 70#?

The Predator bows spit out 210+ with a 600grain arrow but that is pretty unheard of... Sounds like Dave makes a fast bow!

Bamboo is very light for it's strength and Howard Hill prefered it for his bows so it has got to be one of the better choices for limbs I would think.

My new bow chronographed at 180 feet per second, 2219 at 28" (560 grain), 65 lb.

210 is quite fast, would like to know draw length and arrow weight specs that achieved that.

Had a look at Dave's workmanship at Tully, I suspect you will be happy, they are works of art.

Admired the workmanship of the bow but didnt take much notice of any chronographing.

I was always looking out the window at school too, lol.

Hey Cooke . Yea the cronograph was cool, and that bow was fast, I shot mine thru it and was supprised at how slow it was actually, ohh well it still does the job well enough. Just need to stretch a bit more maybe.lol.... I'll bet you cant wait for your curve to be finished, Owen told me you boys copped a hard time at the club the other day.

yer i was blown out by how slow mycomp was compared to the company specs.. 240fps when specs say 310fps. i was only shooting light glod tips.
