you got the cheap carbons, with 4" vanes right, they came from the factory glued, they shouldnt be. They are good arrows never the less, and to answer your question they are reliable not glued

I had the same problem mate. i brought a box of arrows from the local store that were cheap. but i must say for there price they wernt that bad at all. as chris said boiling water got some of them off but not all of them. I also found they had glued the inserts in, and glue had leaked into the screw in target tip  lucky i was only using them to shoot at the target with anyway.

for anybody thats looking at this in the future asking the same question...

Put your nock in a vice with two bits of cardboard inbetween each jaw of the vice so it dosnt crack the nock. simply get a small candle of lighter and put the tp of the flame on the section of the shaft that has the nock inserted on the inside. Pull on the shaft as much as you can without it coming out of the vice. I found that when you heat it the glue melts first then the plastic nock and then the carbon, so if you keep pulling on the shaft when your heating it the as soon as the glue melts it will come off and it wont get hot enough to melt the nock of shaft.:D

put your nock into freshly boiled water for a minute or two without risking damage to the shaft from flame.

Short of the hot water mate, the other option is to cut them off and put in an insert and put the new nock back in. Though, this might be a bit of a stuff around. If they are carbon, it will be a lot of stuffing around.

Alternatively, just go outside and shoot the arrow into a stone that is hidden in the ground behind a target, this always seems to make mine fly off in a million pieces. LOL, just fa jokes.
