finally i have had a few days to play with my new toy. i have been working in Aurukun and pormparauw for the last 2 weeks and has been killing me to know that i am not yet proficcient with myh new bow. i had only 2 days to roughly tune it and sight it before i went. i did some fine tuning today and i am happy with how its shooting. so quiet and fast. all you hear at 10m is the release aid and then the target gettien thoughg punished.
even though i am working in some of the best pig hunting country in oz i havent done much. saw 1 boar when we had an early arvbut thats about it. leave thursday morn for another week or so of work but guna make an effort to nail 1 now i got it sorted out.

well, I learnt one thing last night...don't shoot the pigs when they are within 30 yards of some ultra thick cover! I Went for a quick look just then before work and no sign of the 2 that ran back home.
the 3rd has done the harold holt on me as well in the knee high spinifex/grass. No doubt I will find him in a day or so with the hawks sitting above him in the trees or the smell from the 40 plus days....bugger.
next plan of attack is to let them venture out further from the cover before having a shot then hopefully I will get better results.

goodluck mate
