Two Blades and Speed Bows

Just wondering if any of you speed bow shooters..who shoot your hunting arrows at 290fps+ have any probs with 2 blade broadheads...if so which ones did you find did...or...didn't... fly true?;)

I'm using outback supreme's out my 80lb tribute and the only problem i'm having is looking for my arrow about 50m out the other side of the goat. Have used some black stumps and they shot just as well.

i shoot blackstumps out of my hoyt vectrix and they go well, i have also used an outback hunter head and it performs just the way i want it to.

I have had problems with some 2 blades, but if they spin up right, then they fly fine. Problems can arise if you use a 2 blade head with a large surface area. If the blade doesn't quite spin true and there is a large surface area, you will get a planing effect. You will get the best flight if you use a smaller 2 blade broadhead with vents.

I found in the past johnno that Ribteks dont like a lot of speed. My Reflex's speed is 260ft per sec. They shot all over the place no matter what I tried. Went to Outback Supremes and they shoot brilliant.

At 292 Fts (over My Chrono At 10 Mts)
With A 29" Draw

With The Above Twin Blds Shoot Ok
But I Have Changed To 3 Bld Thunder Heads And 4"nap Guick Spin Fletches
Will Robin Hood At 25 Mts If I Wish
Couldent Do That With Twins

ive got a better name for it... EGO TRIP!!!! ypu shooting animals or oak tree's??? all that extra effort for???? any 65# bow will do over almost anything in the world bar about and elephant these days...

You don't only shoot a higher poundage bow for penatration, they can also give you a much flatter trajectory with a heavy arrow.
I think the main thing is that you can draw it back smoothly and comfortably, and if you can do that, go for it;):)
If mathews made a drenalin in 80# I would be all over it.
