String length

Ok time for my next stupid question.
To get the bow string and buss cable lengths is the measurment taken from the inside to inside of the cable/string loops or outside to outside.


Got the new string set and on taking the old bow string off I found it to be 1/4 of an inch longer then the new one. I emailed Bowtech to make sure I was given and had given the correct length to Rob for the replacement string.


Bowtech told me 1/4 inch stretch in the old string was not uncommon. Now im wondering if i take the length outside to outside ect... forgot to ask about where to measure from.

Gday mate the string length is taken from the inside of the loops and the old string is 1/4 inch longer due to it stretching...

All strings are measured from the inside of the loop, touching the 1/4" posts, on one end to the inside of the loop, touching the 1/4" posts, on the other while it has been under 100# tension for at least ten minutes.
