im getting a 08 martin leopard 50# compound bow and was just wondering whether the poundage is anough to take down a deer??
also has any one ever got a deer down with lower poundage than 50?

if i can remember right (i'm probebly wrong) the legal limit of poundage for deer if #50... that would obviously be for ethical reasons (to get a cleen kill) so i guess that it would be enough.
That would be fine, as long as you put the arrow in the right spot and have it shaving sharp:)

depends what deer youre chasing, i wouldnt use less than 60 for sambar
