I think it might be time to start looking for a new bow. I was thinking that something like a Bowtech Allegiance might suit me. I knock over the usual stuff (pigs and goats etc) and want a new bow that is suited purely for hunting. It will also need to be able to take a bit of punishment. Just wondering what the pros and cons are with the Allegiance. How well does it stack up against other Bowtech models? Does anybody shoot one, if so, how does it perform? Cheers.

It performs very well. In fact one of my Staff shooters just won Shooter of the year MBR with one at the 3DAAA Nationals in Nambucca so it's accurate enough.
He also hunts and that bow will be his hunting rig next year as he is going to shoot a shiny new bow for 2008.

I can't comment as an owner of one, but my mate has the General, and he raves about it. From what i have seen, it seems to be very accurate :)
