I went out on Saturday to try and chase a few goats with the recurve.
I have spent the last few weeks practicing with it and have become a bit better at driving it;) so I was keen to test it out.
The first goats I saw were two young billies that were watering at a dam, There was absolutely no cover at all, just open grassy paddock, but I thought I would give it a go anyway.
When I was crawling in one of the goats busted me, so remembering a little trick that Piggy had used on the sambar (pretending to be a wombat) I put the curve on top of my head like a set of horns and moved them around as if I was a goat feeding, and funnily enough they went back to feeding allowing me to get in to 7 meters and put a shot though a young billy for meat ( my second goat with the recurve)

We then saw a nice mob of billies and took off up and down the steepest hills (cliffs) on the property and managed to stalk in and take this billy:D

We hunted back down to the gully and my mate Daniel managed to get in on a nice young on for meat

He butchered it out and started the hike back up the steep hill to the car, while I went in on another mob of goats.
I managed to stalk in to 7 meters from a nice billy and slip an arrow through him dropping him within 10 meters.
He is definately my best billy with the recurve and may be my best with the bow too, so I was pretty stoked:D
