hey guys. I was wondering if someone could help me. i want to buy myself a solid recurve bow (not a take down), or even a longbow. i dont want to spend much on it since it will be my first, maybe around 350-500 bucks. Not really knowing much on traditional bows i just wondered if anyone could give me a few pointers on what or not to buy. i dont want anything to heavy. maybe 50lb and my draw length is 27". any help would be appreciated.

Get in touch with Jeffro who is a member here. He is selling some nice one piece recurves in that price range. You should also check out the Samick one piece recurves, they also represent great value for money.

Remember, for some people - if their compound draw length is 27, your trad draw length will probaly be shorter, depending on their/your shooting style. Howie
