View Full Version : Ferr-L-Tite with carbon
Who here has used/uses Ferr-L-Tite (hot melt glue) with their carbon arrows. I'm aware it's not good to use heat with carbon but I was considering using it while i'm experimenting with lengths of some new arrows.
Opinions?
I've been using standard hotmelt lately, it works fine. Just remember to clean the inside of the shaft well.(a wire .22 bore brush does a good job)

The only trouble I found with hot melt on carbons, with a fast bow, the friction heats the heads up, and some times when the arrow is pulled out of a target, the head stay behind.
