was talking to my coach today and she brought up an interesting concept that does not make any sence to me at all.

on an compound with an draw length of over 28" the draw weight is reduced.

i know this is the opposite to traditional bows

so my question is how is this concept even possible?? as the mechanic's should not have an affect on the peak weight should it ??

cheers in advance

Is she on crack or what?????????

A 70lb bow is going to be a 70lb bow if it is at 28" draw or a 32" draw.

Yup.
Draw weight is consistant from any draw length on a compound bow.
What does your coach coach???

maybe she was mixed up draw weight with let off? I know you can get bows with 65-80% let off adjustments, and I tried to adjust mine but it just didn't seem right
