IMO Spot Hogg gear is extremely well designed. The company uses high grade materials throughout the models. I have the Hogg It model, as I like a long extension. It is manufactured to a very high tolerance- it would support my weight if I had the inclination to stand on it. Reliable in the field. The fibers are not as bright as some other manf's, but there is an upgrade kit for the older models. I think I read the newer releases come with brighter fibres.
Their newsletters are an excellent read, too. http://www.spot-hogg.com/default.shtml
