well my dad and I are finding it qiute difficult to find properties in WA, there are no massive properties out here, and finding the game is very hard, im even finding rabbit properties hard to come by, we only have about 2 properties one with pigs but they are not on there yet so we have to wait, and the other is a rabbit property, but we have to go at night as they dont come out till about 6 ot 7 pm, we havnt only ever seen one in the three times weve been, but aparently the owner says there are thousands.

so im finding it hard.

the area also isnt very green its very much dry grass land and hard to stalk on much but it is possible with patience.

Yeah it can certainly be hard at times mate, I think most of us have been downthat road and alot still travelling it. Your just new to the game and so far I think your doing alright and have a lot of great hunting ahead of you. Just stay keen and keep searching mate. Some of the best hunting I have done has been in dry country, ferals will live in the most fruitless areas.

Good luck with it.

plenty big properties about, but without a car it's pretty hard to doorknock.

can't be too far off getting your drivers license danny? be patient.

there are lots of places just north of Perth with owners open minded about the potential of you bowhunting there - you just haven't visited them yet.

i shot a red deer for sausages on weekend (perth hills) and there's plenty more there (and fallow, foxes, goats, pigs) and weekend back i just rocked up at a place at Gingin and got property access to pigs at the first place i visited. i know it's usually harder than that, but just like hunting if you persist then it does pour with rain sometimes.

bide time by practising hard so when you do get the goods look out game.

i think you're doing alright having the property access you've got! both sound okay to me.

I got a property a while ago and we got on his good side and he recommended us to his neighbours and got me a new property so why don’t you stick to one place and the owner of where you hunt mite do the same.

Danny, good things come to those who get out there mate and ask nicely..;)

I moved over 2500kms from perth and live and work in the bronx just so i can hunt hogs 5 mins from home and catch Barra !!

just keep up the practice, wait til ya get a car and leave school, get a job on the mine and you will have access to big properties at your finger tips!

nah mate, stick with it and just keep asking...nicely. :P

we havnt been able to get acess to our pig property as they arent on there yet,
What do you mean by that. Doesn’t the owner let you on their place unless he/she is sure the pigs are there?

well when it gets dry the small river is concentrated on his and a couple of others, so for some time there not on there.
