After our recent trip away one of the first things I noticed when looking through my peep in low light situations was the difficulty of clearly making out the pig to place my shot. Im going to try a Timberline No Peep to get around this problem. Has anyone else tried a no peep and what is your opinion on these. The promo of the Timberline makes it sound like the best thing since sliced bread but every product maker blows there own horn. I don't mind shelling out the few bucks if it helps me see my target better in low light.
Thanks.

Darren.

I used one when my bow blew up when i went to the cape and i had to use Pat's bow. It was awesome and i will never go back. took me one arvo and i was as accurate as my peep. I could shoot at least 15min longer in the arvo then the other guys with peeps

Put a Timberline on my bow a week ago and love it. My groups are probably no better but I nolonger have a peep to worry about.
I haven't used it hunting yet but I can't see there being any problems.
If you want to hunt in low light or no light there is no reason why you could not mount a sight light on it.

G-day Treker, just wondering mate did you get your Timberline locally or over the net. I couldnt find one and had to buy direct from Timberline in the states. It cost me $48 AUD including air freight. I emailed them and asked if they had an Australian distributer ect but they told me no and to just buy from them.

Purchased mine from the US. It only took about 5 Days to arrive. They sent a couple of email to tell me where the order was up to. Excellent to deal with

I had one here that I didn't use and sent it out to a few fella's off the site to use to see if they liked them before they bought one but then lost track of who had it and it was never sent back to me so it is no more...It wasn't for me though...
Cheers...Sparra

I used one in conjunction with a peep some time ago, to check if my hand position was consistent.

i just read the timber line page,i love the idea, a question for u guys, i switched to peep and release due to the fact that i cant practise anywhere near as much as i would like, in fact ive put more arrows into animals than targets over the last couple of years. I use the peep due to the fact that it makes up for lack of practise. Will the no peep do the same or do u still have to practise with it more regularly? Is it a pick up and go hunting piece of kit?
